Kim Christensen Leads Coolbet Open Main Event
Day 1b of the Coolbet Open �550 Main Event at Olympic Park Casino and Hilton Park Hotel was a huge success with 264 entrants, more than doubling the 104 entrants entering on Day 1a to create a field of at least 368 entrants.
A total of 151 entrants survived which brings the remaining field size to 214 players with 63 surviving Day 1a. The field will continue to grow with late registration open until the end of the first level of Day 2.
Denmark's Kim Christensen ended Day 1a in the chip lead with 190,900 and sits comfortably in first place overall heading into Day 2.
Also bagging big stacks were Estonia's Carmen-Elina Vist, who shared with PokerNews that she "ran like an animal" with 151,300 in chips, and Finland's Veli-Pekka Alakorva with 150,100 in chips.
Meanwhile, Day 1a chip leader Dmitri Zatsik (163,700) heads into Day 2 with the second biggest stack, Craig Timmis (152,600) sits in third.
