Online tournament grinders had a field day on May 20 thanks to the partypoker POWERFEST, 888poker XL Inferno and the PokerStars Spring Championship Of Online Poker (SCOOP) drawing to a close with the biggest events of their respective series.

PokerG1rl69 at partypoker won more than $366,000 for a very profitable Sunday; lets discover how they did that.

The POWERFEST #81-SHR: $1M Gtd Championship Event PKO NL Holdem tournament saw a 304-strong field descend on partypoker to create a guarantee-busting $1,550,400 prize pool. This prize pool was split half and half between the regular prize pool and the bounty prize pool, the latter having no rake on it thanks to recent changes made by partypoker.

Ca11MeMaybe was the unfortunate soul to burst the money bubble after going out in 41st place. Their elimination meant the surviving players would win at least $5,928 plus any bounties they had claimed along the way.

Talal raidalot Shakerchi burst the final table bubble after he fell in ninth place, securing a minimum $15,200 payday for the eight finalists.

Mike thebattler33 Kachan busted in eighth place for $15,200 but he also walked away with $41,031 in bounty payments thanks to sending eight opponents to the rail on his way to the final table.

Kachan was joined on the sidelines by joaotreta, VictorVazquez and David JeanCleaude1970 Peters before MonkMode continued their impressive POWERFEST by finishing in fourth place for $55,860 and $11,700 worth of bounties.

Heads-up was set when BackDoorMat crashed out in third place. Pider Ninni, who won a $1 million guaranteed event earlier in POWERFEST, eventually fell in second place for $109,440 plus $34,287 which meant PokerG1rl69 was crowned the tournaments champion, an accolade that came with a custom trophy and a combined score of $336,652.

Last week, Andras probirs Nemeth earned his largest-ever online poker tournament cash when he triumphed in the PokerStars SCOOP-14-H: $25,000 NLHE 8-Max High Roller.

Nemeth was one of 100 entries (77 unique entrants and 23 re-entries) who helped hit the $2,500,000 guarantee. Denmarks Henrik hhecklen Hecklen fell in 14th place to burst the money bubble, at which point Nemeth was the tournaments chip leader.

Bryn BrynKenney Kenney, Grisha813, Black88, and hello_totti fell in positions 13th through 10th to leave only one table of players remaining. Nemeth then sent limitless of Macao home in ninth place to set the official final table.

Viktor Isildur1 Blom busted in eighth place when his ill-timed bluff with ace-high was snapped off by Nemeth who held two pair. Blom was followed to the sidelines by ROFLshove who was eliminated by the seemingly unstoppable Nemeth with pocket fours versus the eliminated players ace-king.

Michael SirWatts Watson and Germany superstar Ole wizowizo Schemion were the next casualties before Rui RuiNF Ferreira and Chinas huang33 busted to leave Nemeth and Roman RomeOpro Romanovskiy to battle heads-up for the title.

Nemeth held a near 19.5 million to 5.45 million chip advantage over Romanovskiy and while the Ukrainian fought valiantly, he couldnt quite get his hands on his second SCOOP title of the series.

The final hand saw Nemeth jam on the button with A?5? and Romanovskiy called off his last 12 big blinds with A?6?. Nemeth flew into the lead on the 10?K?5? flop and stayed there as the turn and river fell 4? and 9? to award Nemeth more than half a million dollars.
