Bill Perkins is one of the most well known businessman to have a voice and audience in poker. His resume includes hedge fund manager, film producer, venture capitalist, father of two, and more recognizably; amateur poker player.
Perkins believes that "practically all people" are living sub-optimally and may even be "wasting their lives."
Off the felt, he can be seen on Instagram jet-setting around the world traveling to exotic places. On the felt, he has over $2.5 million in live tournament earnings and has been known to stream his online poker sessions with Jeff Gross and Dan Bilzerian on his Thirst Lounge Twitch page.
But soon, Perkins will be able to add author to his list of titles. Recently, we were able to get a sneak peek of Bill Perkins' new project: a book about optimizing life.
Bill Perkins just started this process, working hand-in-hand with a professional writer and an agent, that, together, will help many people on achieving their personal goals. Perkins believes that "practically all people" are living sub-optimally and may even be "wasting their lives."

Perkins intention with his first authored book is to create something that people can reference. The book should be used to build a "methodology of having the most fulfilling life of their choosing, no matter what path they choose."
Through the methodology mentioned in the book, and following all the steps and process that Perkins recommends, readers will gain knowledge on maximizing their lives. And, according to Perkins, he believes that he will be saving lives.
This ambitious project has no release date as of yet. As of now, he's uncertain of how long it will actually take to write. "There is so much work and so many directions to go within this subject."
But, Perkins is confident that in 2019 we will be able to see some chapter previews that will be shared with the poker community.
