The poker community watched in awe as Doyle Brunson took 6th place in what he announced would be his last World Series of Poker event. The rail of the $10K No Limit 2-7 Lowball Draw was full of fans young and old cheering for "Texas Dolly". Doyle didn't end up taking home his 11th World Series of Poker bracelet, but he did say he would continue to play high stakes mixed cash games.

This week's Throwback Thursday highlights Doyle Brunson at the World Series of Poker in 2013. Kristy Arnett catches Brunson entering the $50K Poker Players' Championship after saying he was going to skip the WSOP. He explains that he tries to be home by midnight every night for his wife, but there are certain WSOP events that he can't resist. Even though it was 5 years ago, maybe Doyle will make the same decision this WSOP and decide to come back and play the $50K Poker Players' Championship this weekend. For now, we can enjoy the video below and hope!
