Fabrizio ��DrMiKee�� Gonzalez is one of the best online poker tournament players in the world. Hailing from Uruguay, Gonzalez has won almost $7.4 million online and has been ranked as high as number one in the world by our friends at PocketFives.

Gonzalez enjoyed a profitable Sunday this week by winning a high stakes tournament at partypoker and reaching the final table of another at 888poker.

partypoker Super Big Bounty Hunter-HR

The $125,000 guaranteed Super Big Bounty Hunter-HR at partypoker attracted a field of 244 entrants who helped surpass the guarantee by $50. Several big name players were among those 244 entrants, including Team partypoker��s Roberto ��WelshWizard�� Romanello who busted in 35th place with 32 places paid.

A min-cash was worth $634 plus any bounty payments the players picked up along the way.

Lukas ��suk12cz�� Soucek was the first casualty of the eight-handed final table. The Czech grinder banked $1,403 plus $2,214 worth of bounties. Only one player collected more individual bounties that Soucek and that was the eventual champion.

��HungarysHero�� busted in seventh-place and was followed the rail by ��summuNNN��, ��InthisCity��, and ��ABOUDIABY2��. This left only three players in the hunt for the five-figure first-place prize, a prize Gonzalez was determined to capture.

��Dries1234�� exited in third-place after collecting nine bounties along the way, which left Brazil��s Guilherm ��TodayHave�� Oliveria and Fabrizo ��DrMiKee�� Gonzalez to lock horns heads-up. Gonzalez sent Oliveria to the rail in second-place, which was Gonzalez��s 11th scalp of the night, meaning he took home $12,437 from the main prize pool and an additional $14,556 worth of bounties.

888poker $50,000 Whale

Gonzalez also navigated his way to the final table of the $50,000 Whale at 888poker. This week��s Whale saw 35 players make 15 rebuys between them to ensure the $50,000 guarantee was met. This compact field meant only the top five finishers were awarded any prize money.

Fifth-place was worth $4,000 and this is the sum Gonzalez collected. The Uruguayan could not quite get the job done like he did in the partypoker event earlier.

Ukraine��s ��Fukuruku�� busted in fourth-place for a $5,000 addition to his or her bankroll with third-place and $7,500 going to Germany��s ��HustlaStylez��. The German��s exit left ��InJeBakkes�� of the Netherlands and Swedish superstar Niklas ��tutten7�� Astedt to battle heads-up for the $20,000 top prize.

No deal was struck despite this being a heads-up battle for $6,500 and it was Astedt who emerged victorious, resigning his Dutch opponent to the $13,500 runner-up prize.

PokerStars Sunday Million

Vietnam��s ��donykim999�� previously had a largest cash of a shade over $3,000 at PokerStars, now they can brag of a $108,000 score thanks to emerging victorious from this weekend��s Sunday Million.

A field of 5,063 players took to the PokerStars tables to play for a share of $1,012,600. Everyone at the nine-handed final table locked up $8,050 for their $215 investment, but with $136,869 awaiting the champion, nobody wanted to get their hands on the smaller sum.

Romania��s ��toporceanu11�� became the ninth-place finisher when they lost the majority of their stack with a pair of eights against the red queens of ��LolS�� and they committed the rest of their stack with pocket jacks and lost to the ace-queen of donkykim999, courtesy of an ace on the flop.

donykim999 then sent ��SSSciakalaka�� home in eight-place. The pair got their stacks into the middle of the table with the flop reading ace-king-deuce. SSSciakalaka held ace-deuce and was way ahead of the ace-queen of donykim999. A seven on the turn kept SSSciakalaka ahead, but the king on the river counterfeited their hand and they busted from the tournament.

Seventh-place when to LolS whose ace-queen lost to the dominated queen-ten of ��pqshq�� which improved to a queen-high straight by the river.

Russia��s Maksym ��MAMOHT_T�� Mamonov busted in sixth-place when his three-bet shove with a suited ace-seven failed to improve against the black pair of nines of ��n3xD�� before a pair of red nines in the hand of ��arbaarba�� held against the king-queen of pqshq to reduce the player count by one.

The final four became three with the exit of ��WutalOssi�� who lost when their king-ten came up against the ace-king of arbaarba after both players flopped a king.

A deal was discussed for almost 20 minutes before the last standing trio could agree on the figures. It was a deal that left $20,000 to play for, plus bragging rights among their peers.

n3xD saw their queens cracked by the ace-eight of donykim99 after an eight on the flop was joined by another on the river. This left n3xD on fumes and their remaining chips went into the pot with jack-ten and lost to queen-deuce of arbaarba.

Heads-up saw donykim999 take a 35.6 million to 14.9 million chip lead into last battle with arbaarba. The final hand saw donykim999 limp on the button with king-jack and then call a 15 big blind shove from arbaarba who moved all-in with queen-jack. Neither player improved their hand, arbaarba busted in second-place and donykim999 took down the tournament to scoop $108,000.

PokerStars Sunday High Roller: $100K Gtd

Current world number four took their lifetime online poker tournament winnings past the $6.9 million mark when they triumphed in the PokerStars Sunday High Roller. A compact field of 48 entries meant there was a small overlay in this high stake event.

��Bartek901�� fell in sixth-place and turned their $2,100 into $4,782 with ��balsareney88�� of Poland exiting in fifth-place for $7,120; they were the last player to not collect a five-figure score.

Swedish superstar Johannes ��Greenstone25�� Korsar busted in fourth-place and collected $10,601 with Brazilian grinder ��cigarromata�� locking up $15,782 for their third-place finish.

Two of the world��s elite online players locked horns heads-up for the title and the not-so-small matter of a $38,214 top prize. Andras ��probirs�� Nemeth eventually exited in second-place for a $23,498 addition to his bankroll, leaving ��hello_totti�� to bank the lion��s share of the prize pool.

partypoker Super Sunday 1K Deepstack

partypoker��s Super Sunday 1k Deepstack saw 102 players turn out in force to compete for what was a $24,990 top prize. This is the princely sum awarded to ��k2Schogori�� who was the last player standing.

All eight players at the final table turned their $1,050 investment into at least $3,315. ��Skippyskip5�� collected this amount for their eighth-place finish and they were followed to the sidelines by ��EXPENSlVE22��, ��floki123�� and Team partypoker pro Philipp ��Phil_Gruissem�� Gruissem who netted $6,630 for his fifth-place exit.

��MFP93�� was the last player to walk away with a four-figure prize, namely $8,925 for finishing in fourth-place. ��Spinner2255�� busted in third for a cool $12,750 with ��mask0ff�� crashing out at the hands of ��k2Schogori�� to bank $17,850.

888poker $75,000 Sunday Mega Deep

Fabiano ��FranciscoAI�� Kovalski of Brazil emerged victorious from the $75,000 Sunday Mega Deep at 888poker by outlasting 374 opponents, including the legendary Simon ��Isildur1337x�� Mattsson, who he defeated heads-up.

Kovalski walked away $15,187 richer than when he started the tournament, an impressive return on his $215 buy-in. The victory was made sweeter by the fact he defeated Mattsson heads-up to secure the title. Mattsson is one of the world��s best poker tournament players, one with almost $9.8 million in winnings and one who is respected and feared in equal amounts.

This latest victory pushes Kovalski��s lifetime winnings ever closer to $2.4 million.
