A field of 327 players exchanged $5,200 for 100,000 chips, creating a prize pool of $1,635,000. This massive sum was shared among the top 48 finishers with a min-cash being worth $10,627 and a final table appearance boosting this sum to $30,411.

“Sheparentao” was the first player at the final table to bust and they were followed to the sidelines by “ubicaprofi”, “PickYouOFF”, and Oliver “sk2ll_m0dR” Weis, the latter falling in fifth-place and becoming the last player not to secure a six-figure score.

Weis was joined on the rail by “BuyThaPot” who netted $113,632 before “NoLoitering” busted in third-place for $158,595, leaving “A3PTEH” and Sami “LarsLuzak1” Kelopuro to lock horns heads-up for the title.

No deal was struck despite there being a near $100,000 pay jump. This meant when A3PTEH fell in second-place, they netted $228,900 and Kelopuro walked away with a massive $317,190 addition to his bankroll.

Another massive tournament was the POWERFEST #144-HR: $1M Gtd Championship Event PKO that saw a $1,160,760 prize pool created.

The player known as “nipa3p3” walked away with the lion’s share of this huge sum, namely a combined $171,143, made up of a $97,014 score from the main prize pool and an additional $74,129 worth of bounties.

“YmbertoZhukov” was the runner-up, a finish worth a combined $75,186 while “imPlayCash”, the third-place finisher, won $74,263 for their third-place finish. The reason they scooped almost the same as second-place was the fact they eliminated 20 opponents on their way to their third-place finish.

Nipa3p3 has now won more than $4 million from online poker tournaments, with more than $1.3 million of this stemming from his play at partypoker. It was only a couple of days ago that nipa3p3 finished seventh in the $25,500 Super High Roller for a $147,420 score; what a week!

Niklas “Lena900” Astedt, the number one ranked online poker tournament player according to PocketFives, continued to impress when he came out on top of a stacked final table in the $2,100 Sunday High Roller.

The nine-handed final table saw some of the biggest names in poker seated at it; any one of them would have been a worthy champion.

Conor “blanconegro” Drinnan busted in eighth-place for $7,494 with Sam “Str8$$$Homey” Greenwood busting one place deeper for a $9,852 payday.

Netherlands-based Joao “Naza114” Vieira fell in fourth-place for $22,382 with Nick “caecilius” Petrangelo falling short of the victory, exiting in third-place to turn $2,100 into $29,424.

Petrangelo’s elimination left Canada’s Alex “bigfox86” Foxen and Astedt to battle one-on-one for the title. Astedt claimed the victory for Sweden, getting his hands on $50,851 and resigning Foxen to the $38,681 consolation prize.

Astedt now only trails the legendary Chris “Moorman1” Moorman in terms of money won from online poker tournaments. Moorman currently boasts of $15.34 million worth of cashes with Astedt on $12.22 million.
