Jordan "JWPRODIGY" Westmorland

Some poker players burst onto the scene, enjoy some success, and then fade away into the distance. Not Jordan JWPRODIGY Westmorland (lead photo). He has been grinding away for the past decade, accumulating cashes with relative ease, and this weekend was no different.

Among his impressive results on Nov. 11 was a victory in the PokerStars Hotter $215 for $17,087 and a fourth-place finish in the High Roller Club: $1,050 Sunday Supersonic for an additional $18,403. The Thailand-based pro also finished fifth in the partypoker Sunday Main Event High Roller: $150K Gtd for $9,000 and took down the Sunday Bounty Hunter: $30K Gtd 6-Max for a combined score of $8,294, also at partypoker.

Westmorland now has more than $5.3 million in online poker tournament cashes and a further $735,000 from his live play.

The biggest winner this weekend, however, was Argentinas Ivan ivanvilchez8 Vilchez, courtesy of taking down the PokerStars Sunday Million. Lets take a look at that massive event first.

Ivan ivanvilchez8 Vilchez helped himself to his biggest online score to date after outlasting a field of 5,695 players in the PokerStars Sunday Million. This colossal crowd created a $1,139,000 prize pool that was shared among the top 998 finishers.

Everyone was guaranteed $9,048 by the time the final table was reached, and this is the sum eighth-place finisher AKK_Zen collected. They were joined on the rail by the United Kingdoms OLDWOLF133, blazinchron of Canada, and Brazils Pardal77.

Fifth-place and a cool $37,308 went to mraink, and they were followed to the rail by Malta-based Italian easylimp who netted $53,163 for their troubles. Brazilian sensation Felipe lipe piv Boianovsky crashed out in third-place, sending the tournament into the heads-up stage where both players were guaranteed a six-figure score.

Vilchez found himself heads-up against another South American in Uruguays notbacked. No deal was struck, so this battle was essentially a near $46,000 heads-up sit and go! Vilchez was the man who was the last player standing so collected $153,830 while runner-up notbacked added $107,949 to their bankroll.

The High Roller Club: $2,100 Sunday High Roller attracted a star-studded crowd with this weekends reading like a whos who of online poker.

Any of the nine finalists would have been a worthy champion, but it was Swedens Anton anteen Bertilsson who emerged victorious to turn his $2,100 into $47,008. Bertilssons victory came after he defeated fellow Swede Viktor Isildur1 Blom heads-up for the title; Blom banked $36,103 for his second-place finish.

Earlier at the final table Jack jackziyang Salter finished in ninth-place for $5,690 and was joined on the rail by Ivan Negriin Luca in eighth-place, a finish worth $7,409. Russias Black88 exited in seventh-place for $9,647 and was the last player to not walk away with five-figures to show for their efforts.

A compact field of 48 entries competed in this weeks partypoker Sunday Super High Roller: $100K Gtd. The field was smaller than usual due to the 2018 Caribbean Poker Party dragging hundreds of partypoker players to The Bahamas for the massive live festival.

Conor ADRIEN_BRODY Beresford took full advantage of the smaller field by triumphing over his opponents to scoop $45,000.

Only the final six players received prize money with Simon HellmuthTheGr8 being the first player to cash, his sixth-place finish adding $7,200 to his bankroll. Russian superstar PhileasFogg then fell in fifth-place for an $8,400 score.

The first five-figure haul went to HULKMAN85 when they busted in fourth-place for $10,800 while savageplenty walked away $18,600 richer courtesy of falling in third-place.

Beresford and frippu locked horns heads-up for the title and it was Beresford, who finished second in this tournament last week, who emerged from the fight unscathed to claim the top prize, resigning frippu to a $30,000 consolation prize.
