US Online Sunday Briefing: "BruceWayne" Wins $53,690
The New Year Kick-off Series wrapped up on Sunday at WSOP.com and it didn't disappoint with the Main Event of series producing the biggest prize pool of the year to date at American-regulated online poker rooms. "BruceWayne" took the most advantage by winning the event for $53,690.
Thomas "baileykins" Mcfadden Jr. won the second most this week after finishing runner-up in the Main Event for $30,975, while Alexander "ShadowFiend1" Condon also won big after shipping the WSOP.com $50,000 Monthly Sunday for $23,370.

The WSOP.com $15,000 Weekly Sunday Deepstack produced a massive field and almost doubled its $15,000 guarantee with 213 entrants, plus 256 rebuys and 170 add-ons generating a $29,075 prize pool. A total of 35 players cashed for a minimum of $204.
Last week, Sridhar "sri50k" Sangannagari won the tournament with Jamie "mooseman1710" Reyes finishing in seventh place. The duo swapped spots this week with Reyes winning the event for $7,705 and Sangannagari bowing out in seventh place for $1,047.
Also at the final table was Jason "LuckDuck" Lawhun finishing in fourth place for $1,977.

The WSOP New Year Kick-off Series Main Event - $150,000 NLH was easily the biggest tournament at American regulated online poker rooms of the year so far. The tournament was a huge success with the 295 entrants and 118 rebuys creating a $206,500 prize pool.
It took "BruceWayne" more than 10 1/2 hours of play to become the last player standing and claim the top prize of $53,690. Finishing one spot behind was Thomas "baileykins" Mcfadden Jr. in second place for $30,975.
Jed "jchak" Hoffman also cashed at the final table in seventh place for $7,434.
