Brazilian players dominated the latter stages of this weeks Sunday Million with five of them reaching the nine-handed final table and one of them being crowned champion.
Entry figures for this weeks $109 buy-in tournament were the lowest they have been since the switch from a $215 to $109 buy-in, probably because of the ongoing World Series of Poker in Las Vegas. Rafael LiroLa Lopes Monteiro was the first Brazilian to bust, his ninth-place netting him $8,367. KaikeSilva fell next and collected $11,530 for their eighth-place finish, while KKing James saw their tournament come to an abrupt end in fourth place for $41,575.

Eighty players were paid, but nobody got their hands on more than the eventual champion, Swedens STORTjavlaGL. The Swedes first-place finish saw them win $13,544 from the main prize pool and $19,782 from the bounty prize pool. A large part of that substantial bounty payment stemmed from busting boulton1994 of the UK heads-up, which left the Brit to add $16,364 to their lifetime winnings.
A special mention has to go to the player who busted in sixth place. The UKs king_of_tainha netted $3,309 worth of bounties during the tournament and only the champion managed to secure more.

While on his way to winning the PokerStars Sunday 500, Andras Nemeth, unfortunately, burst the money bubble in the first of two Sunday Blade $5K events at Natural8. Nemeths demise meant the surviving five players were guaranteed $10,151 for their efforts.
This is the sum Olekonjole of Austria won when they lost all their chips to fall in fifth. The Austrian got some company on the rail in the shape of Mexicos godiswithme! who netted $16,127.
$25,621 went to third place finisher HectorHermano of Finland and despite there being a $28,100 difference between first and second place, no deal was struck. The lack of a deal meant PyramidOfSkulls was awarded $40,705 for their second place exit, while the UKs chan593, a regular in these high stakes games, locked up the $68,893 top prize.
