Three-Time WSOP Circuit Ring winner Cary Marshall Passes Away at Age 69
On Tuesday, the poker world received word that three-time World Series of Poker Circuit ring winner Cary Marshall passed away at the age of 69,
News broke on Facebook when several friends posted of Marshall��s passing.
��I am writing this with a very heavy heart just found out my old friend Cary Marshall has passed,�� wrote David Bowles. ��I knew he skipped the man this year told me his stomach was messed up. You lived life to the fullest old pal and I will miss you more than I can put in words RIP!��
Throughout his poker career, which according to HendonMob dated back to 2011, Marshall amassed $937,093 in tournament earnings including a career-best $162,536 for finishing third in this past summer��s 2019 WSOP Event #39: $1,000 Super Seniors.
Most of his earnings came on the WSOP Circuit with 45 cashes totaling $338,683. An additional 10 cashes for $316,382 came at the WSOP, meaning all told he had 55 WSOP-related cashes totaling $655,065.
Originally from Dallas and a fan of the Texas Rangers, Marshall won his first WSOP Circuit ring back in 2012 when he took down the Harveys Lake Tahoe $1,675 Main Event for $139,260. The following year he won Event #9: $365 Pot-Limit Omaha at the same venue for $7,853 and his second ring, while his third came earlier this year at the WSOP Circuit Potawatomi in Milwaukee when he took down Event #13: $250 NLH Double Stack for $15,272.

Jessie Bryant also offered the following: "It pains me to say one of my great friends Cary Marshall has passed away. He lived life to the fullest and was always kind. He played poker like a 25-year-old in an old man��s body. I love him like an older brother. Last thing he said to me was he gave his soul back to Jesus.��
