Since its inception in December 2009, the Mid-States Poker Tour (MSPT) has awarded $98,880,663 throughout 159 Main Events and 33 Regional Events. With five stops remaining in 2019 �C which coincides with the MSPT��s 10th season �C the tour is set to cross the $100-million mark.

MSPT Meskwaki Casino Preview
A series of satellites have been feeding into the $1,100 buy-in, $300K GTD Main Event, which will run this weekend from Nov. 1-3. Players must be 18 years old to play.
The tournament will offer two starting flights beginning with Day 1a at 3 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 1. Day 1b will take place at the same time on Saturday, and the surviving players from both flights will return at 11 a.m. on Sunday to play down to a winner. The final table will not only be live reported by PokerNews but also livestreamed worldwide on a 15-minute delay.
Back in March, the first MSPT Meskwaki of Season 10 drew 409 entries and saw Steve Federspiel walk away with an $86,949 first-place prize. Then, in July, Josh Meyer bested a 401-entry field to win the 2019 MSPT Iowa State Poker Championship. In the same event last year, Taylor Howard topped a 423-entry field to win the tournament for $89,939.
Remaining MSPT Season 10 Schedule
After Iowa, the MSPT will host events in Colorado, Wisconsin, and Minnesota. Once again, the season will end at Canterbury Park, home to the first-ever MSPT stop. The $1,100 buy-in Main Event will feature a $500,000 guarantee and it��s there the Season 10 Player of the Year race will crown a winner.

Current MSPT Season 10 POY Standings
With five stops remaining, Mike Shin holds a big lead in the Player of the Year race. His 4,800 points are well ahead of Adam Friedman, who is his next closest competition with 3,500 points.
Shin has amassed nine MSPT cashes in 2019 which includes winning the MSPT Majestic Star back in January for $68,593 and finishing third in the MSPT Venetian over the summer for $334,000. That was the second-largest score of his career behind the $427,930 he received for finishing 12th in the 2016 World Series of Poker Main Event.
