The 2019 Borgata Fall Poker Open is in full swing and some big stories have emerged. Perhaps the most impressive was the heater of Menachem Rosenberg, who won back-to-back titles for $13,591 in combined prize money.

His first win came over a 121-entry field in Event #12: $230 Pot-Limit Omaha H/L 8B. The final three struck an adjusted payout deal that saw Rosenberg take down the lion's share, pocketing $5,229 for his efforts along with his first Borgata trophy. Rosenberg is an Atlantic City, New Jersey native that has cashed in four-card poker dating back to 2008. This finish brought him over $50,000 in live career earnings.

Taking home second-place money was Larry Ohalloran, securing himself a nice $4,569 cash. The third player that took part in the deal was WSOP cash leader Roland Israelashvili, who added $3,348 to his long resume.

Rosenberg Wins Second Trophy in BFPO H.O.S.E

The following day in Event #13: $340 H.O.S.E, Rosenberg was the last player standing in a 75-entry field to capture a $8,292 first-place prize, along with a second prestigious Borgata trophy.

Rosenberg entered the tournament with the same confidence that he exuded throughout his first victory, playing his style en route to a rare back-to-back victory in the BFPO series.

Jim Paluszek put up a valiant effort, grinding a stack on the shorter side of things from six-handed play down to heads-up and showed not restraints leading up to his departure. Paluszek fought as hard as he could, but could not outrun the red-hot Rosenberg, taking an exit in second place for a respectable $4,802.
