Jakub Oliva wins 2019 WSOP International Circuit King's Resort Rozvadov Main Event

With the upcoming 2020 WSOP International Circuit at King's Resort, Rozvadov rapidly approaching, we thought that we would look back at the last time the WSOPC was in town back in October 2019.

Back then a 38-event festival was headlined by the 1 million WSOP Circuit Main Event. Not only did the event come with a seven-figure guarantee, but the top 10 players would also be taking home a seat to the 10,350 World Series of Poker Europe Main Event.

The Main Event attracted a field of 768 players, and in the end, it was Czech player Jakub Oliva who won the first prize of 205,000 and his first WSOP Circuit ring.

Final Table Action

Jakub Oliva and Shay Rozenbaum were clear chip leaders at the start of the final table, but after a flurry of earlier action, which included the early elimination of notable Grzegorz Wyraz, Rozenbaum would have to settle for fifth place.

Oliva had an even more commanding chip lead by this point, and despite the final day lasting over 15 hours, by the time he got heads-up against eventual runner-up Toon Hanot, Oliva steamrolled his way to victory in just 15 minutes.

Michael Sklenicka wins World Series of Poker Circuit King's Resort Rozvadov €5,300 High Roller

Sklenicka Wins 5,300 WSOP Circuit High Roller

The Main Event title and ring wasn't the only thing staying in the Czech Republic, as Oliva's compatriot Michael Skleni?ka won the 5,300 High Roller for 58,900. Skleni?ka has amassed over $1 million in life time earnings, but this victory was the second biggest of his career.

He defeated Hong Kong's Yan Tsang heads-up to win his first WSOP Circuit ring after defeating a 31-player High Roller field.
