Live! WPT Deepstacks Festival and Championship Event Kicks Off on March 13

The cards will be in the air at the Live! Casino Hotel in Maryland between March 13 - 23, 2020, as the WPT Deepstacks Festival and Championship Event gets ready to keep players busy during an intense 11 days of poker.
Featuring an action-packed 17-tournament calendar, the poker festival will offer local regulars and new players the opportunity to join some of the best events of the season...and win big!
In 2019, the last edition of the Live! WPT Deepstacks Main Event generated a prize pool of $556,500 letting the winner walk away with a first prize of over $116,000.
The $300,000 GTD. Main Event
The highlight of the series, as usual, is going to be the festival's Main Event, a $1,650 buy-in no-limit hold'em event featuring a guaranteed prize pool of $300,000.
Scheduled to begin at 11:15 a.m. on Friday, March 20, the Main Event features two starting flights, with the second Day 1 kicking off at the same time on Saturday, March 21.
Those in play will have the opportunity to fire two bullets every day, as the event allows one re-entry during each starting flight.
Live qualifiers to win a seat into the main event are already taking place at the Live! Casino Hotel located just a stone's off Baltimore. Multi-step qualifiers begin at as little as $50.
The Other Events on the Schedule
The Main Event might be the one with the most coveted trophy up for grabs, but is surely not the only tournament that promises to keep players busy at the tables.
Other marquee events on the schedule include a $360 buy-in Multi Flight tournament featuring a $150,000 guarantee, a $250 buy-in Mini Live Size featuring a $50,000 guarantee, and a $500 PLO / Big O tournament coming with a $10,000 guaranteed prize pool.
The festival also includes a $240 Ladies Event on March 14 ($3,500 Guaranteed), a $360 Seniors Event on March 16 ($10,000 Guaranteed), and a $360 HORSE Event on March 17 ($10,000 Guaranteed).
