MSPT Sets Sights on Upcoming Stops in Iowa & Colorado

For the first time in its eleventh season, the MSPT is headed to Meskwaki Casino in Tama, Iowa. A series of satellites, which are happening now, will feed into the 25th MSPT Main Event ever held at the venue. The $1,100 buy-in, $300,000 guaranteed Main Event will run the weekend of March 20-22 and be live reported here on PokerNews.
Back in March of 2019, the first MSPT Meskwaki of Season 10 drew 409 entries and saw Steve Federspiel of Tiffin, Iowa walk away with an $86,949 first-place -prize. Then, in July, Iowa��s Josh Meyer bested a 401-entry field to win the 2019 MSPT Iowa State Poker Championship. This past November, MSPT Hall of Famer Aaron Johnson defeated a 409-runner field to earn his first MSPT title and take home $86,951!

MSPT Returns to Colorado in April
For the second time in Season 10, the MSPT will head to Black Hawk, Colorado �C about an hour west of Denver �C for the back end of the MSPT Signature Series April 13-19. The stop includes six trophy events culminating with a $1,110 buy-in Main Event boasting a $200K Guarantee, which PokerNews will be on-site to live report.
Back in January, the MSPT was at Golden Gates Casino where it attracted the largest field in Colorado history with the $360 buy-in Regional Event, which drew 1,087 entrants. Erasmus Morfe, who also finished 19th in the 2015 World Series of Poker Main Event, eventually took down that event.
The last time the MSPT visited the property for a $1,110 Main Event was back in November when Steve Wilkie defeated a field of 399 entrants to earn the title and $85,149.
