The first of 12 Championship Events of the WPT World Online Championships kicks off at partypoker on July 18. Lovers of four hole cards will flock to partypoker in droves hoping to take down the Pot Limit Omaha Hi-Low Championship.

The $3,200 buy-in event isnt for the faint-hearted as some of the best PLO8 players in the world will be in attendance. Having the chance to bank the lions share of the $500,000 guaranteed prize pool will be a strong lure, as will the 100,000 starting stack and the 20-minute clock that starts at 250/500/65a.

All three tournaments have the same starting stack and blind structure. They also feature two Day 1s, Day 1A starting at 6:00 p.m. BST on July 18 and Day 1B starting at 6:00 p.m. BST on July 19.

Play ends after the completion of the 20th level before resuming at 7:00 p.m. BST on July 20. Will you become the WPTWOCs first champion?

Get Ready For A Good Tournament

888poker recently went back to basics with its Freezeout Series and this weekend is running another player-friendly event known simply as A Good Tournament.

This $215 buy-in affair features a brace of starting flights, Day 1A commencing at 8:35 p.m. BST on July 18 and Day 1B at 5:35 p.m. on July 19. Day 2 starts promptly at 8:00 p.m. BST on July 20.

Everyone in A Good Tournament sits down with a generous starting stack of 30,000 chips and plays to 12-minute clock where blinds start at 150/300/40a. Both Day 1s last for 14 levels or until 17% of the field remains. Anyone with chips in front of them at this point progresses to Day 2.

Re-entries are limited to once per flight and late registration is open for the first 100-minutes. Theres a $20,000 guarantee on this event, although wed expect the actual prize pool to be larger, especially as theres a plethora of satellites running from only $12.
