The biggest online poker festival ever to take place in the long history of 888poker is nearly a week through its schedule with the Millions Superstorm guaranteeing at more than $8 million across 480 tournaments from Sept. 10 to Oct. 11.
The highlight of the festival is the two-day $320 888Millions Superstorm Main Event boasting a huge $1 million guarantee. Opening flights have already begun for this event and there are plenty of chances every day for you to earn a ticket to this event for free.
Russia's Maksim "MAMOHT_T" Mamonov has the best single result thus far in the festival after shipping the 888Millions High Roller for a cool $23,000. Mamonov is a well-known online tournament beast with nearly $9 million in online earnings as tracked at PocketFives, where is he currently residing in 15th place in the Worldwide Rankings.

Dozens of events have already taken place during the first six days of the Millions Superstorm at 888poker.
Uruguay's Fabrizio "DrMiKee" Gonzalez was the biggest star thus far in the festival after shipping the 888Millions Sunday Special for $19,350 until Mamonov took the honor for himself.
Mamonov wasn't the only big winner the past couple of days as many other players won tournaments to win big prizes including "DaMisters" shipping the Mini High Roller for $5,757 and "shadow147" and "AUTISPOSTI" taking down the Mega Deep on Monday and Tuesday to win more than $3,000 each.

Opening flights for the Superstorm Main Event are underway with thus far 733 entrants (including 96 inflight re-entries) getting into the action in hopes for a lion's share of the at least $1 million guaranteed in the prize pool.
A total of 106 players and counting have thus far virtually bagged a stack with many more to come. Brazil's "vitola99" has kept the chip lead since our last update on Monday after parlaying his 10,000 opening chip stack into a monster stack of 227,527 in chips.
The only change in the top ten on the leaderboard in the past two days was Malta's "PlumpySouyon" bagging a seventh-place chip stack of 162,319. He knocked Finland's "dmg34" off out of the top ten.
Meanwhile, former top-ranked online tournament player in the world in Chile's Nicolas "PKaiser" Fierro has squeezed into the top ten in chip stacks and is a formidable opponent regardless of whether he is pushed slightly down the leaderboard by the time Day 2 kicks off.

The Main Event provides plenty of action with 20-minute blind levels on Day 1. Opening flights end the sooner of 12 blind levels in the books or the field trimmed down to 14 percent of its starting size.
The next opening flight takes place on Monday, Sept. 14 at 7 p.m. GMT / 3 p.m. EDT. There are plenty of satellites for players to qualify for pennies on the dollars along with many paths for players to get their tickets for free.
