Day 1b of the World Poker Tour World Online Championships Main Event on partypoker kicked off yesterday with 490 players getting into the action.

Combined with the 521 players entering on Day 1a, the event attracted a total of 1,011 entrants to generate a $10,110,000 prize pool to squeeze past the event's lofty $10 million guarantee.

A total of 76 players advanced to Day 2 on Day 1b including partypoker ambassadors Jason Koon and Isaac Haxton. They will be joined by the 80 players that advanced on Day 1a including partypoker ambassadors Philipp Gruissem and Dzmitry Urbanovich.

Benjamin Rolle virtually bagged the biggest stack on Day 1b and will bring a hefty stack of 3,604,241 to Day 2. Also bagging big on Day 1b were Daniel Szymanski (3,375,987), Victor Simionato (3,181,776), Almedin Imsirovic (2,984,524), and Nicolay Motsenko (2,953,222).

WPT WOC Main Event Schedule

Day 2 of the World Poker Tour World Online Championships Main Event takes place on Monday, Sept 14 at 7:05 p.m. BST.

The 156 remaining players will begin the action with blinds at 15,000/30,000 along with an ante of 3,750. The action will conclude on Day 2 after a dozen 30-minute blind levels are in the books with Day 3 kicking off around the same time the following day.

A cash prize will be there for the top 136 players, with a min-cash of $23,253 awarded to those who eek into the money. The top prize awarded at the end of the event is a massive $1,715,667.
