Felix Schulze Leads the Final 23 Players in the partypoker WPT Montreal Main Event
Day 2 of the WPT Montreal $3,200 Main Event witnessed 133 players out of a total field of 888 entrants whittled down to just 23 hopefuls after ten levels of 30-minutes each on Monday, Jan. 26 at partypoker.
Felix Schulze, waving the Austrian flag at partypoker, emerged as the clear overnight chip leader with a towering stack of 20,785,963 in chips.
Schulze is looking to add a WPT title to his WPT DeepStacks title he earned in April 2019 in that festival's �1,100 Main Event for �104,304 ($117,018).
Andrei Kriazhev entered Day 2 with the chip lead and parlayed this into a healthy second place stack heading into Day 3 with 18,782,517 in chips. Also bagging eight-figure stacks into Day 3 were Jakob Miegel (13,087,719), Pablo Brito Silva (11,801,992), and Marcel Kunze (10,415,776).
Many other big names found a virtual bag last night including Christian Rudolph, Ole Schemion, Daniel Shak, Upeshka De Silva, Ryan Riess, Chris Moorman, and Kenny Hallaert.
Nobody left empty-handed that returned yesterday with all 133 players guaranteed a min-cash of at least $6,394 but many players in the field will not be returning including Day 1b chip leader Luiz Orrico (43rd - $10,214). Also missing the cut to Day 3 were partypoker Ambassadors Joni Jouhkimainen (31st - $14,699) and Jamie Staples (77th - $7,654).

Day 3 Structure
Day 3 of the WPT Montreal $3,200 Main Event will kick off on Tuesday, Jan. 26 at 7:05 p.m. GMT (2:05 p.m. EST). Blind levels will begin at 80,000/160,000/20,000a and will increase very slowly at every 40 minutes as opposed to the already generous 30-minute blind levels featured on Day 2.
The 23 remaining players are each guaranteed a huge payout of $18,400 with all players eager to put themselves in position on Wednesday to win the title along with the $447,859 top prize.
The action will conclude on Day 3 once the field is down to just a nine-max final table, which will be played out on Wednesday, Jan. 27 at 7:05 p.m. GMT (2:05 p.m. EST).

WPT Montreal Online Schedule
There are plenty more exciting tournaments on the WPT Montreal Online schedule, including the $10,300 buy-in Mike Sexton Classic. This charity tournament takes place on Jan. 31 and the $300 registration fee from all entries will be donated to the Nevada Partnership Homeless Youth charity.
The event comes with a $1 million guarantee and the final table will be livestreamed on February 1.
