Adrian Mateos is the man going into the final table in the enviable position of chip leader. The super talented Spaniard has played in all 42 Super MILLION$ to date, but a victory still eludes him. This is the fifth time Mateos has navigated his way to the final table, but he has never finished higher than third. Is tonight the night Mateos gets the proverbial monkey off his back?

Joao Vieira is Mateos closest rival in terms of chips. The Portuguese grinder enters his fifth Super MILLION$ final table second in chips. Like Mateos, Vieira is yet to win this high stakes event, with a fourth-place finish last week being the deepest Vieira has finished.

Third place at the restart is Aliaksei Boika who is another player enjoying back-to-back Super MILLION$ final tables. Boika won a $1,000 satellite into this event before selling 29.88% of himself to 30 investors using the GGPoker inbuilt staking software. Those investors are hopeful their man can secure the $428,624 top prize.

RRomashka Gunning For Glory

You find Russian producer and personality RRomashka bang in the middle of the pack when the final table action commences. RRomashka came agonisingly close to winning this event on February 7, 2021, but ultimately had to make do with a runner-up finish, which netted him a cool $332,073.

Sam Greenwood sits down fifth in chips at what is only his second Super MILLION$ final table appearance from 32 entries. Greenwood finished sixth the last time he was under the spotlight, finishing eighth or better today would take Greenwoods GGPoker winnings past $4 million.

Mexicos Nator is hopeful of turning their 30th Super MILLION$ entry into their first outright victory. Today marks their fifth final table appearance. A third-place finish in September 2020, is the deepest Nator has made it in this star-studded tournament.

Dzivielevski Looking to Defend His Super MILLION$ Title

Reigning Super MILLION$ champion Yuri Dzivielevski is another player to reach back-to-back final tables. The two-time WSOP bracelet winner sits down in seventh place and with a lot of work to do if he is to successfully defend his title. Dzivielevski started in a similar position last week and managed to walk away with the title, which required him to beat Michael Addamo heads-up.

The second-shortest stack belongs to David Coleman who has been incredible in this event. Coleman has played 11 Super MILLION$, cashed in four, with three of those in-the-money finishes being at the final table. Should Coleman manage to navigate his way to third-place or better, his GGPoker winnings will smash through the $1 million barrier.

Bringing up the rear is Art Papazyan who has reached the money place of this $10,300 tournament for the first time in six attempts. You usually find Papazyan crushing high stakes cash games, but he knows his way around a poker tournament, too. Papazyan only has 16.2 big blinds at his disposal at the restart, but an early double puts him right back in the thick of it.
