Sam Greenwood helped himself to a $141,384 prize this weekend when he won the $1,050 GGMasters High Roller event at GGPoker.
Greenwood was one of 1,000 players who parted company with $1,050 for the chance to become the tournament��s champion. The final table of the GGMasters High Roller is usually packed with household names, but this week��s was quite unusual as the final table was mostly made up of relatively unknown grinders.
��Serenity Now�� and ��ObellaCiao�� were the first casualties of the final table. They scooped prizes worth $14,138 and $18,853 respectively. Brazil��s Pedro Garagnani ($25,142), ��alwayspush�� ($33,527), and Austria��s ��lhjgkfdasjz�� ($44,709) were the next trio to fall.
Polish player ��ZryjGruz�� ($59,621) busted in fourth, with the elimination of "Tawkone" ($79,506) sending the tournament heads-up where both players locked in six-figure hauls.
Greenwood defeated San Marino��s ��Fantastik55�� and claimed the $141,384 top prize. Fantastik55 walked away with the $106,023 runner-up score.

Mokhammad Triumphs in the Omaholic Super High Roller
A compact field of 93 entrants competed in the $10,300 Omaholic Super High Roller and Kamel Mokhammad outlasted them all. First-place in this huge event weighed in at $217,850 which is a fantastic yield for a day��s work.
Mokhammad defeated Finnish PLO specialist Eelis Parssinen heads-up to bank the top prize. Parssinen walked away with $171,479 for his runner-up finish, while Ronny Kaiser, the former EPT Estonia champion, won $134,978 after his exit in third.
One other players, ��JNandez87��, netted six-figures. Their fourth-place finish saw $106,247 make its way to his GGPoker account.
Shout-outs for the other finalists who fought valiantly but could not quite get the job done. Isaac Haxton ($32,105), Gavin Cochrane ($40,787), Belarmino Souza ($51,817), Samuli Sipila ($65,829), and David Mezei ($83,631) being those finalists who fell short this time.

Bruno Volkmann won this weekend��s $1,050 Sunday High Roller and walked away with more than $60,000 for his efforts.
The Sunday High Roller attracts the very best players in the business week-on-week, and this week was no different. Renato ��bauruzito�� Valentim and Mustapha ��lasagnaaammm�� Kanit were the first finalists to dust off their stacks. Andrey ��andrejyyy�� Novak bit the dust in sixth before Germany��s ��Speedy121182�� and ��Aasgaard23�� of Norway fell by the wayside.
There was no deal struck in this event despite the final three players being evenly matched. Dominik ��Bounatirou�� Nitsche saw his tournament end in third place for $33,692, which left Volkmann and Ole ��wizowizo�� Schemion heads-up for the title.
Volkmann got the job done and claimed the $60,012 top prize, leaving Schemion to collect the $44,966 consolation prize.

Dimov Demolishes High Roller Big Game Field
The High Roller Big Game title went to Bulgaria this weekend as Ognyan Dimov came out on top of a 139-strong field at partypoker. Dimov��s excellent result saw $82,964 head his way, making for a super Sunday.
Dimov defeated Malta-based Swedish sensation Joakim Andersson heads-up, resigning the Swede to a $54,695 score. All but one of the nine finalists locked up five-figures, Torben Sorensen ($9,100) being that player.
The final table was littered with stellar names who fell at the feet of Dimov. Such luminaries as Aleksejs Ponakovs ($11,046), Jans Arends ($13,056), Rok Gostisa ($15,508), David Yan ($19,468), and Simon Mattsson ($37,419) all tried and failed to dislodge Dimov from top spot.

The $530 Big Game saw 520 players buy in, but only Gregor Sverko had chips in front of him when the curtain came down on proceedings. Victory saw Sverko��s partypoker account receive a $45,228 payment, a price he claimed after defeating Joris Ruys of the Netherlands heads-up.
People talk about the luck of the Irish, but the pair of Irish stars at the final table ran out of luck before the heads-up section. Marc Macdonnell could only muster a sixth-place finish worth $7,943 while Reginald Corrigan fell in third and walked away with $21,696 in cold, hard cash.
