Jonah RaiseUpBlind Silverstein Bags Two PokerStars Titles
Table Of Contents
Jonah RaiseUpBlind Silverstein helped himself to not one but two major tournament titles at PokerStars on June 27. Winning two events in a single day is a fantastic achievement at the best of times, but Silversteins double haul was made all the more impressive due to the quality of the fields he navigated through.
Victory number one came in the $1,050 Sunday Cooldown, an 8-Max PKO tournament that attracted a compact yet talented field of 72 entrants. Half of the $72,000 prize pool went on the heads of each entrant with the remaining 50% being shared among the top nine finishers.
Oneway1988 fell one place short of the final table, before Jonathan Proudflop Proudfoot crashed out in eighth place. Former partypoker MILLIONS Online champion Benjamin BC1989RF Chalot finished in seventh with Aalexxs of the Netherlands crashing out in sixth.

Fifth-place and a combined $6,239 went to Grozzorg, which was more than the $4,077 collected by fourth-place finisher Darwinfish because the latter failed to claim a single bounty before they busted.
South Koreas Sung Joo Koreanmonkey Hyun bowed out in third, which left Simon C. Darwin2 Mattsson and Silverstein heads-up for the title. Both the heads-up player locked in $8,495 in prize money from the main prize pool but the final bounty payment was massive because the champion also scoops their own bounty.
This meant Silversteins prize was bolstered by $17,062 when he defeated his talented Swedish opponent, taking his total haul to $25,557. Mattsson walked away with a total prize weighing in at $9,745.

Silverstein Secures Sunday Warm-Up Victory
The $1,050 Sunday Warm-Up was another tournament that drew in a small crowd, 32 entrants to be exact. This meant only four players were paid out.
Proudfoot, the first player to bust from the final table of the $1,050 Sunday Cooldown, was the unfortunate soul who burst the bubble in this event. Proudfoots exit resulted in a prize of least $3,618 for the four surviving players. Ukraines Remi Lebo_10 banked that sum.
Patrick pads1161 Leonard ran out of steam in third-place, a finish worth $5,661, which left Pedro pvigar Garagnani and Silverstein heads-up in a battle for the tournaments five-figure top prize.
Silverstein continued his hot run and sent his Brazilian opponent to the rail in second place. Garagnani padded his bankroll with $8,858, leaving Silverstein to book his second victory of the night, which came with a $13,861 financial reward.
