Jimmy D'Ambrosio World Poker Tour

After three starting flights, the WPT Venetian Main Event heads to Day 2 with 340 players remaining from a starting field of 1,199, making it the largest $5,000 World Poker Tour Main Event in history.

This comes off the back of the WPT Seminole Hard Rock Poker Showdown earlier this year that broke the record for the largest WPT Main Event ever.

Leading the way is Jimmy D'Ambrosio ahead of Sergii Baranov and Ezequiel Waigel. Fourth in chips is Nate Silver, American statistician and editor-in-chief of FiveThirtyEight .

Silver previously cashed at the WPT Seminole Hard Rock Poker Showdown, finishing 161st for $7,465 and is looking for a second WPT cash to add to his resume.
