2021 WSOP Day 13: Five Left in Milly Maker; Marle Cordeiro Among Last 17 in Ladies Event

Day 13 of the 2021 World Series of Poker (WSOP) featured another full day of poker action at the Rio All-Suite Hotel & Casino in sunny Las Vegas with Oct. 12 featuring six bracelet events.

Dylan Linde snagged his first WSOP bracelet of his poker career after winning Event #21: $1,500 Mixed Omaha Hi-Lo 8 or Better for $170,269.

Some of the in-play events include Event #25: $5,000 6-Handed No-Limit Hold��em, where GGPoker Ambassador Daniel Negreanu late-registered before running up a stack on Day 1.

Meanwhile, Marle Cordeiro is among the final 17 players remaining in the $1,000 Ladies Championship and the $1,500 Millionaire Maker is down to just five players with a cool $1 million top prize on the line.

Daniel Lazrus Leads Final Five in the Millionaire Maker

Day 4 of Event #17: $1,500 Millionaire Maker saw 20 players start the day and only five players make it to the fifth and final day. Tomorrow, Oct. 13, action will resume at 4 p.m. local time, and although the five remaining players have locked up $222,430, they will all be looking to win the WSOP gold bracelet and the $1,000,000 first-place prize that awaits one of them.

Daniel Lazrus, who won his first bracelet earlier this year, will be looking for his second as he bagged 60,200,000 chips and is the chip leader going into the final day of play with almost two times the amount of chips as the second biggest bagged stack of Ignacio Moron (30,600,000).

Four-time bracelet winner Michael Gathy (21,900,000) will be looking for another bracelet, while Jeffrey Gencarelli (13,500,000) and Darryl Ronconi (7,400,000) will also have a shot at WSOP gold.

Millionaire Maker Day 4 Chip Counts

Day 5 starts at 4 p.m. local time on Tuesday, Oct. 13 in the Amazon Room of the Rio All-Suite Hotel & Casino. The tournament resumes at Level 36 with blinds at 300,000/600,000/600,000.

Mikiyo Aoki Leads Day 2 in Event #22: $1,000 Ladies No-Limit Hold��em Championship; Marle Cordeiro Advances

After 10 levels of play, Day 2 of Event #22: $1,000 Ladies No-Limit Hold��em has concluded. There were 170 players coming into day 2. The event is down to just 17 players and will return tomorrow at 12 p.m. to play down to the final five.

Mikiyo Aoki (1,674,000) leads the remaining 17 players but JJ Liu (1,511,000) and Crystal Marino (1,349,000) are not far behind.

Some other stacks that made it through the day include Cherish Andrews (1,200,000), Marle Cordeiro (685,000), and Diane Cooley (450,000).

Day 2 Top 10 Chip Counts

Meanwhile, Lily Kiletto, Melissa Schubert, Vanessa Kade, and Liyingxue Ji were among the players that were unable to find a bag into Tuesday's Day 3.

Players will be back for Day 3 at 12 p.m. with blinds starting at 10,000/20,000 along with a big blind ante of 20,000 and increasing every 60 minutes.

Ryan Hughes Goes for Third Career Bracelet; Connor Drinan On His Heels in $1,500 Eight-Game Mix

Poker is a game that requires adaptability and mastering different variants. For the 10 players who will return tomorrow to crown a champion in Event #23: $1,500 Eight-Game Mix, they'll get a chance to prove they can do it better than anyone.

The man leading the way is Ryan Hughes, no stranger to wearing WSOP gold. Hughes is already a two-time bracelet winner and will take the chip lead into tomorrow with 2,534,000. Right behind him is another multiple bracelet winner in Connor Drinan, who finished the day with 1,990,000. Three other bracelet winners made the top-10: Brett Shaffer (800,000), Ryan Leng (770,000), and Dan Zack (384,000).

For Schuyler Thornton, Tyler Willse, Hunter McClelland, George Alexander, and Brandon Bergin, winning the bracelet tomorrow will be a new experience for them. To get this far, they had to navigate a field of 484 players. Day 2 began with 144 players still in the mix, with the money bubble coming at 73rd place.

Event #23 Day 3 Seat Chart

Notables to fall before the money included Allen "Chainsaw" Kessler, David "Bakes" Baker, and Dutch Boyd. Vu Hoang and Matthew Schultz were both eliminated during hand-for-hand play and shared 73rd place.

From there, the likes of Felipe Ramos (46th), Matt Glantz (42nd), David Williams (41st), and Yuri Dzivielevski (20th) fell by the wayside. Five-time bracelet winner Michael Mizrachi made a run at the final table but was busted by Drinan in 11th place near the end of the night.

The 10 remaining players will return tomorrow and play down to the final table of six and the eventual champion. PokerNews will be there the entire way with live updates and chip counts until the final card is dealt.

Shen Liang, Ahmad Shiraz Surpass 2 Million at End of Event #24: $600 Pot-Limit Omaha Deepstack

Day 1 of Event #24: $600 Pot-Limit Omaha Deepstack at the 2021 World Series of Poker is officially over with Shen Liang and Ahmad Shiraz leading the pack as the only two players to bag with more than two million chips.

Liang and Shiraz will be joined on Day 2 by 66 other players who bagged and tagged, with popular poker vlogger Andrew Neeme being one of them.

Event #24 Day 1 Top 10 Chip Counts

Day 1 of the PLO tournament lasted for 11 hours and began with 1,571 runners, 236 of whom made the money and locked up a cash of at least $936. Over a dozen players ended the day with more than a million chips, among them Michael Prendergast, Eric Polirer, Donnie Phan, and Bosu Avunoori.

2004 WSOP Main Event champion Greg Raymer made a deep run but was ultimately eliminated in 125th place for $1,294. Fellow bracelet winners David Williams and Michael Wang joined "Fossilman" in making the money but also didn't make it to Day 2.

Other players in the field who didn't make it through Day 1 included Maria Ho, Shaun Deeb, Barry Greenstein, Ryan Laplante, Brandon Shack-Harris, Lexi Gavin, and Ethan "Rampage Poker" Yau.

The second and final day of the PLO tournament will commence on Oct. 13 at noon local time and will play down to a winner �� who will earn a coveted bracelet and $127,428 in cash.

Scott Drobes Bags Chip Lead as Negreanu Advances in Event #25: $5,000 6-Handed No-Limit Hold��em

The first of four days has been played to completion in Event #25: $5,000 6-Handed No-Limit Hold��em �C with Scott Drobes leading the way after bagging up 692,700 in chips through ten levels of play. Other big stacks belong to Jonathan Jaffe (425,000), Antoine Goutard (440,000) and Diogo Veiga (326,000).

The tournament attracted an abundance of poker talent, as expected in any high buy-in WSOP event. By the end of Day 1, of the 578 players who entered �� only 192 remained. Some notables who bagged and tagged into Day 2 include with Kitty Kuo (94,100), Faraz Jaka (121,700), David Benyamine (101,100), Maria Ho (57,000), Joseph Cheong (81,100), Jason Sommerville (40,500), and Erik Seidel (130,300).

Daniel Negreanu made a splash after registering late in the day by running up his stack early, due largely in part to running pocket aces into Chino Rheem's queens and later turning a full house to knock out another player. Negreanu will return to Day 2 with 265,400 in chips.

Registration for the event will remain open until the start of play tomorrow, which is set to begin at 2 p.m. local time. The returning players will come into level 11 (1200/2400/2400 blinds) and play an additional 10 hour-long levels.
