Ireland's Ronan Sweeney topped the list of the 39 survivors from Day 1A in the Irish Poker Masters KO �1M GTD Main Event on partypoker. The first starting flight saw a total of 259 entries which contributed �259,000 to the seven-figure prize pool.
Sweeney will be looking to go the distance to add to his $1,387,530 online earnings, which was boosted by a further $41,894 thanks to his fifth-place finish in WCOOP-01-H: $109 NLHE. The Irishman also boasts $130,032 in live tournament earnings with a career-high score coming in the 2017 partypoker LIVE Grand Prix Killarney Main Event. Only nine players will make the final day of action which will resume on November 23, 7:05 p.m. GMT where the event will play down to its conclusion.
