2022 EPT Barcelona Streaming Schedule Announced; Eight Days of Tournament Coverage

EPT Barcelona is just around the corner, and soon thousands will venture to the Catalonian coastline for two weeks of high octane poker action. Running from August 8-21, over 61 tournaments are planned (including satellites), with the series is headliner being the �5,300 EPT Main Event.
Other notable tournaments taking place at Casino Barcelona include the much anticipated �10,200 Mystery Bounty (�5K Bounty) and �100,000 EPT Super High Roller.
If for whatever reason you're unable to make it to this stop of the EPT, don't get too much FOMO as you'll be able to keep up with all the action from the aforementioned events and a whole host more!

Three Memorable Hands from the 2019 EPT Barcelona Main Event Final Table
Last time the EPT ventured to Barcelona, Sweden's Simon Brandstrom captured the 2019 Main Event title after he defeated Marton Czuczor in heads-up play.
On the road to his victory, Brandstrom was involved in several memorable hands that propelled him up the chip count leaderboard.
The Dangers of Low Pocket Pairs
The first of note was against Rui Sousa when just three players remained. With the blinds at 125,500/250,000, Sousa opened to action with pocket fours from the button to 550,000 before Brandstrom made it 2,000,000 from the big blind with ace-ten offsuit.
His opponent called to see the K?K?3? flop and Brandstrom bet 800,000. Sousa then made a small raise to 1,900,000 and was called. The 9? turn checked through to the 9? river to counterfeit Sousa's hand. Brandstrom bet the river and Sousa had to send his hand into the muck.

House Over House Jets Brandstrom into the Lead
Not long after the previous hand, Sousa was eliminated to bring the tournament to its final two players. Chip leader Czuczor raised to 900,000 with six-three suited and was called by Brandstrom, who was holding king-three offsuit.
Both players made strong hands on the K?3?3? flop but Brandstrom had the best of it with his flopped full house. He check-called a bet of 700,000. Czuczor's trips then became a full house thanks to the 6? turn. Brandstrom just check-called again for 1,700,000.
The 10? completed the board and this is where fireworks began to ignite. Brandstrom check-shoved as the shorter stack for 17,925,000 after Czuczor bet 6,000,000. The latter snap-called and then couldn't believe what he saw and just had to watch the mammoth sized pot pushed over to his opponent.
River Denies Czuczor Crucial Double Up
Brandstrom, now with a 3 to 1 chip lead was looking to seal out the win. In this hand, Czuczor was just a whisker away from bringing the chip stacks back to even.
The runner-up opened to 900,000 with five-four offsuit and was called by Brandstrom and his ten-five offsuit. The 8?7?6? flop gave the Hungarian a straight while Brandstrom had just an open-ended straight draw. Brandstrom check-called a bet of 1,400,000 before all the chips got into the middle on the K? turn.
Czuczor was about to be back in the game until the 4? hit the river to give both players an eight-high straight. 30 minutes later, Brandstrom's pocket sixes held against Czuszor's king-queen offsuit to seal out the win.
