Global Poker x US Poker Open Returns August 22; SC 1.63M Up for Grabs

The return of the Global Poker x US Poker Open is almost here, and the US-facing online social poker site is about to hand out some incredible prizes during the series from August 22-September 4.
Over the course of 64 poker tournaments (32 Gold Coin events and 32 Sweeps Coin events), Global Poker will hand out at least 652,000,000 Gold Coins and 1,630,000 Sweeps Coins. All tournaments will also award a cool trophy to the lucky and skillful winning player.

Poker Series Details
The US Poker Open is a PokerGO brand event. Each year, PokerGO hosts a series of live high-stakes tournaments from Las Vegas that air on the poker app. High-profile players such as Stephen Chidwick, Daniel Negreanu, and David Peters. PokerGO is bringing the brand to the Global Poker site, and poker players from all walks of life have the opportunity to get in the action.
There are two tournament tiers for both the GC and SC events �� Low and High. The SC series kicks off August 22 at 7 p.m. with the SC 33 No-Limit Hold'em event (Low) with a SC 33,000 guarantee. One hour later, the first High tournament of the series kicks off �� SC 99 No-Limit Hold'em with SC 80,000 guaranteed. Both tournaments, along with most events during the series, allow for one rebuy and add-on.
The overall winner of the Sweeps Coins series is going to take home a special prize �� $5,000 to fund a dream vacation to Las Vegas where they'll be presented with a US Poker Open trophy during a ceremony at the PokerGO Studio. Additionally, the Gold Coins overall champion will receive an exclusive Global Poker X US Poker Open hoodie and a trophy.
On September 4, the SC 99 Main Event takes place, and SC 250,000 is guaranteed.
