NACOOP

The 2023 North American Championship of Online Poker (NACOOP) has been underway for weeks now and has awarded dozens of COOP titles to PokerStars players in Pennsylvania and the shared markets of Michigan and New Jersey, as well as the player pool in Ontario.

Though the series is wrapping up in the coming days, there are still plenty of highlights left for players in each market. Here are three things players don't want to miss out on in the final days of NACOOP.

Win a Red Spade Pass to Vegas for the F1 Race Through PokerStars US

Win a Gold Pass Package

In addition to the millions in guarantees offered through NACOOP, the series offers opportunities to win a Vegas Gold Pass, which will send players to the relaunch of the NAPT in Las Vegas before they spend three days at the Oracle Red Bull Racing Fan Experience during the Las Vegas Grand Prix.

The full package is worth $20,030, and it includes:

  • Seat in the $5,300 NAPT Las Vegas High Roller (November 10-12)
  • 3-day pass for two (November 16-18) for Oracle Red Bull Racing Fan Experience in Las
    Vegas
  • 9 nights hotel accommodation for two (November 10-19) at Resorts World Las Vegas,
    including taxes and resort fees.
  • $4,000 towards flights and expenses.

Play One Of The NACOOP Main Events

Still to come are the two-day Main Events of NACOOP, which will kick off in the respective markets on Oct. 1.

In Pennsylvania, the PACOOP 81: $300 NLHE [Main Event, 2-Day] has a $250,000 guarantee attached in the form of $225,000 in prize money and an NAPT Golden Pass Package.

Meanwhile, the USCOOP 81: $300 NLHE [Main Event, 2-Day] in Michigan and New Jersey has a $350,000 guarantee that includes $325,000 in prize money and the NAPT Golden Pass Package.

As for players in Ontario, they will be able to play for $175,000 in guaranteed prize money in the ONCOOP Main Event.

Win a Main Event Seat Through Depositor Freeroll

What better way is there to play an NACOOP Main Event than by winning a free ticket? You can have a chance to do so just by depositing money on PokerStars.

Players who deposit $50 or more using the code "COOP2023" will receive a ticket to a Main Event Depositor Freeroll on Oct. 1 that will award 50 $300 seats to the Main Event. The Freeroll also includes $15,000 in added prize money.

Plenty of players have already registered for the Main Event Depositor Freeroll, but it isn't too late to do so if you make a deposit on PokerStars.

Play With Poker Author Maria Konnikova

Another highlight of NACOOP is an opportunity poker players have to play on the virtual felt with acclaimed poker author Maria Konnikova.

On Sept. 28, PokerStars announced that Konnikova had returned as an ambassador for the poker site. Konnikova, who was initially a PokerStars ambassador back in 2018, will be playing on PokerStars from New Jersey, giving NACOOP participants a chance to play against the author of The Biggest Bluff.

I'm very happy to once again be joining the PokerStars team as an ambassador," Konnikova said in a press release. "Poker is a game of skill that can teach us so much about our minds and ourselves and I can't wait to share my passion for it along with the incredible team at PokerStars. I'm quite excited for the vision that PokerStars has for U.S. expansion and am thrilled to play a small part in helping the world appreciate the true beauty and promise of a game I have come to love.
