At Torontos CNE Casino, they are doing daily $200 qualifiers for their yearly event. The 40-day poker event by the CNE is presented by PokerStars Ontario this year and serves as a flagship event for the temporary casino. The CNE Casino can be found in the northeast corner of the Better Living Centre, Exhibition Place, Toronto.

Last year's event was a sell-out, with a prize pool of $248,000. CNE management is anticipating another sell-out this year with an even bigger prize pool. Four semi-final qualifying rounds were held with the top ten players of each semi-final moving on to the finals being held on Friday, August 30, and Saturday, August 31.

Finally, the Pickering Casino Resort is now hosting poker tournaments. Every Tuesday in September they will hold a $250 NLH tournament with preregistration starting the Sunday before at 12:03 p.m. local time and must be done in person. Each tournament will be capped at 120 players with an alternate list available.

Players in the tournament will start with 20,000 in chips with an option for an additional 5,000 dealer add-on. Click here for more details.
