The Road To 100 Billion: PokerStars' 85 Billionth Hand To Be Dealt On Sunday!
The Road to 100 Billion is a long-running cash game promotion on the world's largest online poker site. PokerStars is giving away free cash to players who are dealt into milestone hands, and over $1,000,000 has been awarded in the run up to the 85 billionth hand.
Cash prizes are being paid to players who are sitting at the table where every millionth hand is dealt from hand 84,700,000,000 right up to 85,000,000,000. To be in with a chance of walking away with free cash, all you have to do is play real money cash games and hope you are dealt into a milestone hand.
Please note Zoom tables are not eligible for milestone hand prizes. Only play on regular cash tables will be eligible for a milestone prize.
Players will be awarded a cash prize of $60 for every VIP Player Point (VPP) they earned in the last 50 hands played at their table, including the milestone hand itself. Players also receive a base prize of $20. This means the more you play, the better your potential rewards. The formula used to award the cash prizes is as follows:
- Dealt into Milestone Hand: (# of VPPs in last 50 hands x $60) +$20 = Cash prize
- Win Milestone Hand: (# of VPPs in last 50 hands x $60+$20) x 2 = Cash Prize
In order to see what you could win let's have a look at an example. If you are playing on a table that one of the milestone hands is dealt at and have earned 31 VPPs in the last 50 hands and everyone goes all in but you lose the hand then you would win $1,880 (31 * $60 + $20) but if you win the hand in the example you would win $3,760.
The Mega Milestone hand will be the 85 billionth hand dealt on PokerStars and it could potentially change your life. Everyone who is dealt into the hand will be rewarded with a staggering $1,000 for every VPP earned in the previous 50 hands! What's more, the base prize is increased to $10,000 and PokerStars guarantees anyone who wins the Mega Milestone hand will be awarded no less than $20,000!
- Dealt into Milestone Hand: (# of VPPs in last 50 hands x $1,000) +$10,000 = Cash prize
- Win Milestone Hand: (# of VPPs in last 50 hands x $1,000+$10,000) x 2 = Cash Prize
Imagine you have earned a total of 60 VPPs over the past 50 hands, you are on the table to which the Mega Milestone is dealt and you go on to win the hand you would walk away with a colossal $140,000 regardless of the stakes you are playing for at the time!
There will be 301 milestone hands dealt, including the Mega Milestone, and during that time over $1,000,000 will be paid out as prizes. PokerStars has estimated the 85 billionth hand will hit on Sunday, Aug. 19, but there are hundreds of chances to win free money leading up to it.
