Partypoker Announces the Return of the $500K GTD on Sept. 21 0001

Big money is won every Sunday at partypoker in the site's Sunday Major tournaments.

You and many others will have a chance to really strike it rich at partypoker on Sunday, Sept. 21 at 2:00 p.m. ET thanks to the return of the $500K GTD.

The $500K GTD tournament will be replacing the normal $200K GTD Sunday Major that typically runs with the same $200 buy-in and structure. The only major difference between this tournament and the one running every Sunday is the jacked up 2.5X guaranteed prize pool from $200,000 to $500,000.

How to Enter?

There are three paths to get into the $500K tournament, and not all of them involve you spending a lot of your hard-earned money.

1. Direct buy-in: Like almost every tournament out there, you can shell out the $200 with hopes of striking it big. What makes this tournament different, though, is if you don't make the money, partypoker will be giving you a chance to get a $200 refund in the form of a bonus. The bonus will be released at a rate of $20 for every 120 points earned and expire after 30 days.

2. Satellites: If you are looking to get into this great tournament cheaply, rest assured there are many feeder tournaments to get you in for a fraction of the buy-in. Perhaps the best satellite to think about playing is partypoker's special Mega Satellite on Sept. 21 at 10:30 am ET. The Mega Satellite is your chance to get into the $500K GTD for only $5 with at least 100 seats being awarded to the winners.

3. Free Tickets for New Players: If you don't already have a partypoker account, the poker room is giving you five chances to get into the $500K GTD for free. Just sign up to partypoker through PokerNews and make a deposit to get your hands on five $1 satellite tickets!
