Play in the Freebuy 2nd Chance for a Share of $2,500 at PokerStars
In November and December, players who signed up for a PokerStars account through the PokerNews links between Jan. 1, 2016 and now, and those who used PokerNews marketing codes are credited with a ticket for the monthly PokerNews Freebuy 2nd Chance which features a $2,500 prize pool.
Once players have the ticket in their accounts the Friday before each freebuy tournament, they can register for the tournament for one StarsCoin.
These special events are played as nine-handed, no-limit hold'em tournaments. Players start with 2,500 chips and blinds increase every ten minutes. Anyone unfortunate to bust in the first hour can re-enter for another StarsCoin for a second chance at free money.
