Dominik Nitsche is a German poker player and former 888poker Ambassador. Over the course of his career, he has won a World Series of Poker (WSOP) bracelet, a World Poker Tour Championship title, and sits with over $19.1 million in lifetime earnings.
Biography
Nitsche was born in 1991 in Minden, Germany, just outside Hannover. His first recorded tournament cash came in April 2009 in Mar del Plata, Argentina. Nitsche defeated a 290-player field to take down the Latin America Poker Tour title along with more than $380,000.
Like most of the poker's young guns, Nitsche started his career at the online tables. His initial success came in Full Tilt Poker's Online Poker Series where Nitsche scored back to back Super Tuesday final tables and a first-place finish in a Full Tilt $200 re-buy for $42,000.
Nitsche at the World Series of Poker
Nitsche went to Vegas for the summer in 2012 as it was the first year that the young German could play poker in the US. The debut was an impressive one. Nitsche cashed in three WSOP events before winning his first bracelet. He bested the field of 4,620 players to win the $1,000 No-Limit Hold'em event and took home the $654,797 top prize.
The following year, Nitsche came close to winning another WSOP bracelet when he finished third in the WSOP Europe �10,450 Main Event for �400,000 ($540,664).
Nitsche didn��t have to wait too much longer for more WSOP hardware as he went on to win two more WSOP bracelets in 2014. He first won the WSOP National Championship for $352,800 before he went on to also win the $1,000 No Limit event for $335,659.
In 2017, Nitsche won his fourth WSOP bracelet after shipping the WSOP Europe �111,111 Big One for One Drop for �3,487,463 ($4,064,026), representing by far his biggest tournament cash to date.

World Poker Tour
As if winning a WSOP bracelet during his first trip to Las Vegas in 2012 wasn't enough, Nitsche scored another prestigious poker title that same year. In October 2012, he won the World Poker Tour Johannesburg $3,300 Main Event for just over $200,000 in prize money as well as the honor of calling himself a WPT champion.
