Aditya Sushant hails from Chennai, India, and is a professional poker players with a penchant for live multi-table tournaments.
Sushant began cashes in live poker tournaments in late 2010, with most of his early results stemming from tournaments help in his native India. His first five-figure score came in only his second tournament, a victory in Goa worth the equivalent of $13,680, in December 2010.
Sushant enjoyed a new career-high when he banked $38,358 for a 12th-place finish in a $5,000 buy-in event in Las Vegas in July 2015. A year later, Sushant finished 216th in the $10,000 WSOP Main Event for $42,285.
At the 2017 WSOP, Sushant entered the $1,000 No-Limit Hold'em Tag Team event with fellow Indian Nipun Java. The pair were the last players standing, each winning $75,318 and a coveted gold WSOP bracelet. That remains Sushant's largest haul from a live event.
In March and May 2022, Sushant was the runner-up in two India-based events, and those bridesmaid finishers earned him a combined $102,820.
