Arash Ghaneian is an American poker player from California who works as a finance broker in Las Vegas. At the 2024 World Series of Poker (WSOP), Ghaneian won the $10,000 Seven Card Stud Hi-Lo 8 or Better Championship for $374,476 and the second gold bracelet of his career.
Most of Ghaneian's early live poker results, from 2000 onwards, came in tournaments held in Los Angeles, where he mainly played low-stakes events.
At the 2005 WSOP, he finished eighth in a $1,500 Pot-Limit Hold'em event for a then-career-best $44,340. In 2008, he went deep in the $1,500 H.O.R.S.E. at the WSOP, busting in 14th place.
His trip to the 2015 WSOP saw Ghaneian win the $1,500 H.O.R.S.E. event for $239,750 and his first bracelet. A week or so later, he finished eighth in the $10,000 H.O.R.S.E. Championship for an additional $51,986.
Ghaneian finished 63rd in the 2017 WSOP Main Event and won $121,188. His next six-figure score came after winning Event #74: $10,000 Seven Card Stud Hi-Lo 8 or Better Championship at the 2024 WSOP; he scooped $374,476, a new career high.
