Biography

Largely regarded as one of the nicest gentlemen in all of poker, Bill Klein is a retired businessman who found his way to the game. Born in Chicago but now hailing from Laguna Hills, California, Klein owned a manufacturing company, which he eventually sold and retired after being diagnosed with throat cancer.

At the 2015 World Series of Poker (WSOP), Klein entered Event #58: $111,111 High Roller for ONE DROP and finished runner-up to Jonathan Duhamel for $2,465,522, which he donated between two charities — the Orangewood Children’s Foundation and The Shea Center for Therapeutic Riding.

Not only does Klein compete on the high roller circuit, but he also appeared in Season 7 of High Stakes Poker. As of summer 2022, he has amassed just over $6 million in live tournament earnings according to The Hendon Mob.
