David Prociak is an American professional poker player residing in Orlando, Florida. Prociak is best known for being a two-time World Series of Poker (WSOP) bracelet winner.
Prociak's first recorded live score was an outright victory in a $250 buy-in No-Limit Hold'em event at Daytona Beach for $11,655 in October 2015. Six weeks later, he banked his first six-figure prize, claiming the $330,912 runner-up prize money in the $3,500 Rock 'N' Roll Poker Open in Hollywood.
The 2016 WSOP was the first World Series Prociak cashed in. After cashes in the $565 Colossus and the $2,500 Mixed Omaha/Seven Card Stud Hi-Lo, Prociak won the $1,500 Seven Card Stud Hi-Lo 8 or Better event for $156,546 and his first WSOP bracelet.
Since capturing his first bracelet, Prociak has come agonizingly close to adding more WSOP hardware to his wrist. Two fourth-place, two thirds, and two runner-up finishes were difficult to take. However, Prociak made amends for those near misses by triumphing in the $1,500 Badugi event at the 2024 WSOP, a result that earned him $129,676 and a much sought-after second bracelet.
