George Alexander is an American poker player from Fort Lauderdale, Florida, best known for winning Event #50: $10,000 Razz Championship at the 2024 World Series of Poker (WSOP) in Las Vegas.
Alexander played poker full-time when he was younger, but now, he mostly focuses on running his cryptocurrency investment company, Selini Capital. However, the lure of the WSOP is strong, and Alexander makes the journey to Las Vegas most summers.
Prior to winning his first bracelet, Alexander had half a dozen final table appearances at the WSOP, mainly in $10,000 championship events. He finished eighth in the $10,000 Razz Championship in 2019, ninth in the $10,00 Seven Card Stud Championship in 2021, and fifth in the 2023 edition of the $10,000 Seven Card Stud Championship.
At the 2024 WSOP, Alexander finished seventh in the $10,000 Dealers Choice Championship and cashed in two more events before winning the $10,000 Razz for a career-best $282,443 and his first gold bracelet.
