Georgios Tsouloftas is a Cypriot poker player with over $1.8 million in live poker tournament cashes, an impressive sum helped by several six-figure prizes. Tsouloftas' largest single haul came in the 2024 PokerStars European Poker Tour (EPT) Cyprus Main Event, finishing second for $642,300.
The first recorded live score on Tsouloftas' Hendon Mob profile was a victory in an $800 buy-in event in February 2017 worth $27,757. Between then and June 2019, Tsouloftas finished in the money in 14 low-stakes tournaments, all in his native Cyprus.
In August 2020, Tsouloftas entered the €500 NLHE EPF European Poker Festival Main Event at King's Resort, Rozvadov, and came out on top for €102,628 ($121,327). More than two dozen cashes followed, split between Cyprus and Czech Republic-based events. In June 2022, Tsouloftas won the $3,300 Merit Mediterranean Poker Cup in Cyrpus for $264,065, a new career-high.
He captured another title, this time in the €1,100 Million Poker Festival High Roller in Bratislava for €23,800 ($25,467) in June 2023.
Tsouloftas became a World Series of Poker (WSOP) Circuit ring winner in November 2023 after taking down the €1,100 WSOPC Sanremo Main Event for €120,000 ($131,831). The Cypriot started 2024 with a bang, winning the €3,000 NLHE 6-max at the Kings of Tallinn festival for €52,430 ($56,746), and following that up a couple of months later with a fourth-place finish in the €1,150 Irish Open Main Event for another €142,760 ($154,785).
Tsouloftas came close to adding a WSOP bracelet to his circuit ring with a third-place finish in the 2024 WSOP Europe Colossus in September, which earned him another €88,350 ($98,441). A month later, Tsouloftas finished second in the EPT Cyprus Main Event for a new career-best score worth $642,300.
