2021 WSOP Main Event Final Table Profile: Jareth East
World Series of Poker
East made his debut at the WSOP in 2014 and has since gone onto cash on 25 occasions, with 19 of those coming under the WSOP Online umbrella.
In 2015 East returned to the WSOP and made a deep run in the Main Event, finishing 293rd for $ 29,329. Six years later he would make an even deeper run in the Main Event, East finished in 8th place in the 2021 WSOP Main Event which netted him his highest ever score of $1.1 million.
East registered on Day 1f and had a 200,000 stack going into Day 2 but it wasn't always plain sailing for East, especially as the field began to shrink. On Day 5 he was down to 500,000 which was ten big blinds at the time, but ended up finishing the day on 6.5 million.
As the final table approached, East started the day with 13 million, which he swung back and forth from the heights of 27 million to as low as three million. Eventually he bagged 8.3 million and was the table short stack heading into the final table.
He stayed alive thanks to two late doubles, both through Ark Onikul, allowing East to make it to the final table and see Onikul eliminated in 12th place.
