Marius-Catalin Pertea is a Romanian poker player from Buzau. He is best known for his third-place finish in the 2024 PokerStars European Poker Tour (EPT) Barcelona Main Event, a finish that earned him €674,150 ($744,818).

Pertea's second recorded live result came in March 2017, a third-place finish in a €550 buy-in tournament in his native Romania that earned him €38,880. A month later, he collected the €44,280 11th-place prize in the €5,300 PokerStars Championship Main Event in Monte Carlo.

In November 2017, Pertea won the €1,000 Unibet Open Bucharest Main Event for a career-best €90,925.
