Phachara Wongwichit is a Thai poker player and Natural8 Ambassador with over $2.3 million in lifetime earnings.
Wongwichit's breakthrough year was in 2016, thanks to him finishing second in an A$1,150 buy-in event at the Aussie Millions in Melbourne for $A$170,000 ($118,728). That deep run combined with a bankroll-boosting score propelled Wongwichit onto the live poker scene.
At the 2017 WSOP in Las Vegas, Wongwichit finished fourth in the $1,500 No-Limit Hold'em Shootout for $84,453, falling agonizingly short of capturing his first WSOP bracelet. Less than six months later, Wongwichit finished second in the HK$50,000 APPT Macau Poker Cup event for HK$885,000 ($113,162).
Wongwichit improved on his best single haul from a live poker tournament in 2018 when he took a break from grinding at the WSOP to play in the $1,100 Wynn Summer Classic tournament. He ultimately finished second to Athanasios Polychronopoulos and walked away with $204,728.
Dozens of impressive results followed that $200,000+ haul, especially in tournaments held in Asia.
Another six-figure score fell Wongwichit's way in May 22 when he collected $106,089 for a deep run in the 5,000 Triton Poker Series event in Madrid. Wongwichit won another tournament in Taipei in May 2023, which came with the equivalent of $156,692.
