Dominik Nitsche on Entering Tournaments Late, and the Three Ways to Play Ace-King

The European Poker Tour Prague festival is well underway, the third stop of the 12th season of the EPT. Yesterday Steve O��Dwyer took down yet another high roller event by winning the �50,000 Super High Roller. Meanwhile today the second Day 1 flight of the �5,300 Main Event is playing out, as is the �25,500 Single-Day High Roller.

Speaking of high rollers, 888poker Pro Dominik Nitsche took part in that �50K Super High Roller earlier in the week, and he��s back again today as part of the field in the Single-Day High Roller. The German poker pro recently moved over $5 million in career tournament earnings, with three World Series of Poker bracelets, a World Poker Tour title, and a Latin American Poker Tour title among his many triumphs.

Our Sarah Herring had a chance to talk with Nitsche this week about a few different topics, including the factors influencing his decision to enter the �50K Super High Roller late at the start of Day 2. While doing so meant he��d be relatively short-stacked, as he explains there were advantages as well to jumping in late rather than early.

The pair also chat about Nitsche��s bustout hand from the event when his A?K? failed to hold up after a preflop all-in against Ole Schemion��s pocket jacks. As that hand played out, Nitsche cracked ��Ace-king... three ways to play them.�� He was alluding to a joke about there being three ways to play pocket jacks �� and all three of them are wrong.
