Five Tips to Stay Balanced at the World Series of Poker

Is it really almost here? Ready or not, the 2016 World Series of Poker gets started exactly one week from today with Event #1: $565 Casino Employees No-Limit Hold'em, the first of 69 bracelet events on this summer's schedule.

Poker players from all around the world are busy planning and preparing their WSOPs, and we've been preparing as well with strategy pieces such as the 10-part "How to Attack the WSOP" series and other articles such as one earlier this week discussing significant structure changes in low buy-in WSOP events like the Colossus.

For players looking to play multiple events or even stay in Las Vegas all summer, the WSOP can be an especially taxing grind, with the ups and downs of tournaments providing a significant mental challenge even to the most stable tourney vets.

Last year as the WSOP was just getting underway, our Sarah Herring asked poker pro and popular Twitch streamer Evan "Gripsed" Jarvis for some ideas for how to stay balanced while at the WSOP.
