The European Poker Tour is gearing up for the start of Season 12, with the first stop in Barcelona just a little over two weeks away. This year��s EPT Barcelona series includes a huge 71-tournament schedule �� the second-biggest in the tour��s history.

This year an external marquee is being constructed at the Casino Barcelona to help accommodate nearly three dozen more tables than have been used in the past. The casino��s opening hours are also being extended to be able to handle more cash games. In other words, they are already preparing extensively for what should be a busy couple of weeks in Spain.

Speaking of making plans for poker, Senior Floor Manager for PokerStars Events Luca Vivaldi sat down with PokerNews at the end of last season to talk about several different topics associated with hosting your own home poker game, be it a tournament or cash game.
