2024 WSOP Day 24 $25K Fantasy Sweats – Will Team Sternheimer Take the Lead?
On Day 24 of the 2024 WSOP, the final table of Event #38: $1,500 Monster Stack will play out, though there are no $25K Fantasy implications as no drafted players remain. Joao Simao (Team Sternheimer) was the last $25K player standing and earned 88 points for finishing in 22nd place for $46,448. Simao hit the field bonus and now has a league-leading 223 points.
Just five players remain in Event #45: $10,000 H.O.R.S.E. Championship including a pair of $25K Fantasy players in Benny Glaser (Team Sternheimer) and Maksim Pisarenko (Team Baker), who happen to sit one and two in chips.
Similarly, Event #47: $100,000 High Roller NLH is down to six players and four of them are $25K Fantasy players – Chris Hunichen (Team Kalas), Chance Kornuth (Team Livingston), Jeremy Ausmus (Team Noori), and Justin Saliba (Team Livingston).
In Event #48: $1,000 Pot-Limit Omaha, the 2,212-entry field is down to the final eight players including Chris Vitch (Team Sternheimer) and ODB bonus player David Prociak.
Nearly 200 players remain in Event #49: $3,000 NLH Freezeout including $25K Fantasy players Chris Brewer (Team The Dinkers), Jeremy Becker (Team NGNF), Punnat Punsri (Team TheCoffeeBreakers), Renji Mao (Team Lady Gaga), Maxx Coleman (Team AJ’s Eagles), Marco Johnson (Team Sternheimer), Bryce Yockey (Team The Dinkers), Jake Schwartz (Team Oz), and Artur Martirosian (Team Lang).
Finally, more than half the 98-player field remains in Event #50: $10,000 Razz Championship, though late registration is still open. There are a bunch of $25K Fantasy players remaining including Ren Lin (Team NGNF), Arthur Morris (Team AJ’s Eagles), and Nick Schulman (Team Negreanu), to name a few.
