Welcome to the 2022 888poker LIVE Barcelona 1,100 Main Event
The next live poker operator to continue its efforts after the hiatus caused by the COVID-19 pandemic is 888poker. With its popular 888poker LIVE tour, the brand is returning to Casino Barcelona and for the fourth time and more than one dozen tournaments are part of the festival. Most certainly the marquee event of the entire stop is the 1,100 Main Event, which comes with its usual deep structure on Day 1.
In 2022, 888poker LIVE already hosted three stops at The Vic in London and one of them included the 888Live London Festival 888 Main Event. Out of a field of 642 entries, the UK's Bhavin Khatri prevailed to claim the top prize of 126,340 and lift the winner's trophy of the tour for the first time in more than two years.
For the stop in Barcelona, a total of four starting days await with three regular flights and a turbo heat. All regular starting days feature 10 levels of 45 minutes each while the final turbo heat contains a level duration of 20 minutes each ahead of the Day 2 restart on Sunday, May 22. The action for Day 1a is expected to conclude around 3 am local time.
All players receive 30,000 in chips and unlimited re-entries are available throughout the entire registration period. Players can enter and re-enter for the first 14 levels and following break, two levels into Day 2. A 30-second shot clock is in play right from the start and until a winner is crowned.
