Khatri Gets Hero-Called in Massive Pot
A pile of chips amounting to more than 50,000 was already in the middle as Bhavin Khatri and an opponent went to the river on a completed board of 9?3?2?7?4?.
Khatri then moved all in from early position, sending his opponent deep into the tank. He eventually called for his last 60,000.
"You win," Khatri said, showing A?4? for a pair of fours on the river. His opponent let out a deep groan and shot up from his seat as he showed A?3? for a pair of threes.
"The only hand I'm worried about," the defeated opponent said before heading off to the rail.
"I meant to check on that river but I'm trying to get 9x to fold," Khatri explained to his tablemates.
"Value bluff. Best bluff ever," Elliott Panyi said.
"That's why you always show your cards at the end," Khatri added as he moved into contention for the tournament chip lead.
