The final day of the 888poker LIVE Barcelona €2,000 High Roller began last night and lasted well into the early hours of the morning today. After the dust had settled, Maria Lampropoulos was the last player standing from a field of 29 entrants, last defeating Fabian Bartuschk after a lengthy heads-up battle to take home the top prize of $22,000.

Also making the money was 888poker Ambassador Ian Simpson, who finished in third place for $10,000.

The flop came A?J?3?. Action checked around to Alomar who bet 1,800. Ventura made the call while the big blind got out of the way.

On the 9? turn Alomar bet again when checked to, this time for 5,000. Ventura put in a check-raise to 18,500 and after about a minute to consider his options Alomar mucked his hand.
