The poker spotlight returns to Bucharest today for the first of four starting flights in the 560 888poker LIVE Main Event, with a guaranteed 200,000 prize pool waiting to be claimed. The festival has been underway for the past five days of exciting action at 888poker Room Bucharest, with professionals and online qualifiers getting into the mix as Day 1 begins at 5 p.m. local time.

Action during the first three Main Event starting flights will see players try to survive a total of twelve 45-minute levels, while the turbo Day 1d flight features 20-minute levels. The remaining field will then combine for Day 2 on Saturday, March 23 before the final table will crown a new champion on Sunday, March 24.

The 888poker LIVE series last visited Bucharest in August, when Romanian Viorel Gavrila outlasted a field of 191 entries to earn the largest tournament cash of his poker career, after beating Admir Qinami heads up with pocket aces over kings.
